Tymlos

Tymlos is a brand name for the drug abaloparatide. It is a prescription medication used to treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women who are at high risk for fractures. Tymlos is a parathyroid hormone analog, meaning it mimics the action of a naturally occurring hormone in the body that plays a role in bone health. It works by stimulating bone formation and increasing bone mineral density.

The medication is administered as a daily subcutaneous injection. It is typically prescribed for a limited duration of up to 24 months.
