Twostory

Twostory is a term used to describe structures or concepts that have two levels. In architecture and real estate, a two-story building is one that has two floors connected by an interior staircase. The term is most commonly written as "two-story" in American English and "two-storey" in British English; "twostory" without a hyphen is occasionally seen in branding, product names, or informal writing.

In residential design, a two-story house often places living spaces such as kitchen, living room, and dining areas on the ground floor, with bedrooms on the upper floor. Beyond architecture, the term may appear in branding or descriptions for products, media, or services that suffice two levels or stages, such as a publication with two sections or a project with two phases; there is no single canonical meaning beyond its architectural origin.
