Twinturboshaft

Twinturboshaft is a type of turboshaft engine that features two gas generators, one on either side of the main turbine, which drive the compressor and combustor respectively. This configuration offers improved power-to-weight ratios and increased thermal efficiency compared to traditional turboshaft designs. The dual gas generator setup allows for better cooling and reduced thermal stress on the main turbine, as well as more efficient processing of exhaust gases.
