Turendal

Turendal is a town and municipality in the Serrel Valley of Veridia, a fictional country. It lies along the Serrel River and is part of the Veridian rural district. As of 2023, the municipality has an estimated population of about 11,800.

Geographically, the area features gentle hills and arable farmland. The climate is temperate, with warm summers and cool winters, and the average annual precipitation supports diverse agriculture.

Turendal originated in the medieval period as a riverside market town, growing around a ford and trade routes. It gained town rights in the 14th century and later served as a regional administrative center. The historic core preserves stone buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries.
