Tukivyöryt

Tukivyöryt, also known as a snow avalanche, is a rapid flow of snow down a slope. These natural phenomena occur in mountainous regions where snow accumulates and the underlying terrain is steep enough to initiate movement. Tukivyöryt can vary greatly in size, from small slides that affect only a few cubic meters of snow to massive events that can travel for kilometers and carry millions of cubic meters of snow, ice, and debris.
