Tsolpideemi

Tsolpideemi is a medication belonging to the class of drugs known as non-benzodiazepine hypnotics, often referred to as "Z-drugs." Its primary use is for the short-term treatment of insomnia, characterized by difficulty falling asleep, waking up during the night, or early morning awakening. Tsolpideemi works by enhancing the effects of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a neurotransmitter in the brain that inhibits nerve activity. This calming effect helps to induce sleep.
