Trombózishoz
Trombózishoz refers to the formation of a blood clot, known as a thrombus, within a blood vessel. This clot can obstruct the normal flow of blood. Thrombosis can occur in either arteries or veins. Arterial thrombosis often leads to a lack of blood supply to vital organs, such as the heart (causing a heart attack) or the brain (causing a stroke). Venous thrombosis typically occurs in the deep veins of the legs, a condition known as deep vein thrombosis (DVT). A DVT can cause pain, swelling, and redness in the affected limb. A serious complication of DVT is when a piece of the clot breaks off and travels to the lungs, causing a pulmonary embolism, which is a life-threatening condition.
