Trekkseleksjon

Trekseleksjon is a term used in various fields, primarily in genetics and evolutionary biology, to describe the process by which certain genetic traits are favored or disfavored in a population over time. This selection can be driven by a multitude of factors, including environmental pressures, reproductive success, or interactions within a species.

In evolutionary biology, trekkseleksjon is a key mechanism of natural selection.
