Transzmködés

Transzmködés is a Hungarian neologism that does not have a single, widely accepted definition in major dictionaries. It appears in informal and technical writing and is formed from the prefix transz- (across, beyond) and the root mûködés meaning operation or functioning. In plain written Hungarian it is often rendered as transzmködés. Because it is not standardized, its meaning can vary by author and field.

In general, transzmködés describes cross-domain or cross-subsystem operation: the ability to perform a function that spans multiple modules, platforms, or contexts. In information technology, it is commonly used to refer to orchestration or coordination of services across environments—such as integrating cloud and edge components or composing services written in different languages. In manufacturing and automation, it can denote coordinating software and machinery across different production lines to achieve a unified workflow.

Given its informal status, some writers treat transzmködés as synonymous with interoperability or integráció, while others use it to emphasize the execution of processes that traverse several subsystems rather than merely connecting them. The lack of an official definition means that precise meaning should be inferred from context.
