Transrasvahapotism

Transrasvahapotism is a term that has emerged in discussions related to dietary science and public health. It refers to the concept of a dietary pattern or individual's consumption habits that are disproportionately high in trans fatty acids. Trans fatty acids, often referred to as trans fats, are a type of unsaturated fat that can be found in small amounts naturally in some animal products, but are more commonly produced industrially through a process called partial hydrogenation. This process converts liquid oils into solid fats, increasing the shelf life and texture of many processed foods.
