Transportföretagstillstånd is a permit required in Sweden for companies operating commercial transport services. This includes transporting goods or passengers for remuneration. The permit is issued by the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen). To obtain a transportföretagstillstånd, an applicant must demonstrate that they have a qualified transport manager, sufficient financial resources to manage their business effectively, and that the company and its management are of good repute, meaning they have no significant criminal convictions or outstanding debts.
