Toyosawa

Toyosawa is a place name found in Japan. It is most commonly associated with Toyosawa Town (豊里町, Toyosawa-machi), a former municipality located in Iwate Prefecture. This town was established in 1955 through the merger of several smaller villages. In 2006, Toyosawa Town was incorporated into the city of Ichinoseki (一関市, Ichinoseki-shi). Therefore, the historical administrative entity of Toyosawa Town no longer exists independently.
