Torkklämmor
Torkklämmor, also known as drying clips or clothes pegs, are small devices used to fasten laundry to a clothesline or drying rack. They are designed to hold items securely in place while they air dry, preventing them from falling off due to wind or their own weight. Historically, torkklämmor were often made from wood, with a simple spring mechanism. Modern torkklämmor are commonly manufactured from plastic, offering greater durability and resistance to weather conditions. Some plastic designs incorporate rubberized grips to enhance their hold, especially on heavier fabrics.
The basic design of a torkklämma typically involves two arms that are pressed together by a spring.
