Tolmuimmist

Tolmuimmist is an Estonian word that translates to "dust bunny" in English. It refers to accumulations of dust, lint, hair, and other small debris that gather in corners, under furniture, and in other less-trafficked areas of a home or building. These formations are typically loose and fluffy, easily disturbed by air currents or movement.

The formation of tolmuimmist is a natural process driven by static electricity, air circulation, and shedding of materials from occupants and the environment. In homes, this includes human and pet hair, fibers from carpets and clothing, and airborne dust particles. Outside, similar accumulations can occur in sheltered areas.
