Toimistoomme

Toimistoomme is a Finnish grammatical form meaning “to our office” or “into our office.” It is formed by combining the noun toimisto (office) with the possessive suffix -mme, which yields toimistomme (our office), and then applying the illative case to indicate movement toward that place, producing toimistoomme.

This form illustrates how Finnish frequently stacks morphemes to express both ownership and direction in a single word. The illative suffix signals motion into or toward a destination, and the possessive suffix shows that the destination belongs to the speaker and others.
