Tjeukemeer

Tjeukemeer is a lake located in the province of Friesland in the Netherlands. It is the largest lake in the province and the second largest lake in the Netherlands, surpassed only by the IJsselmeer. The lake is situated in the municipality of De Friese Meren and is a significant feature of the Frisian landscape.

The origin of Tjeukemeer is partly natural and partly artificial.
