Titiwangsa
Titiwangsa, or Banjaran Titiwangsa, is the principal mountain range that forms the backbone of Peninsular Malaysia. Running roughly north–south along the spine of the Malay Peninsula, it serves as the continental watershed, separating river systems that drain toward the west coast’s Straits of Malacca from those draining toward the east coast's South China Sea. The range includes several notable peaks, including Mount Tahan, commonly cited as the highest point in Peninsular Malaysia, and Mount Korbu, among others. Its forests and watersheds support biodiversity, provide water resources to urban and rural communities, and have long shaped land use, settlements, and transport routes. The Titiwangsa Range also influences climate patterns and weather in the region.
Titiwangsa is also the name of a federal parliamentary constituency in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It elects one
