These diagrams are crucial in various scientific fields, particularly in immunology, diagnostics, and virology, for monitoring the immune response to a pathogen or vaccination, or for tracking the production of antibodies in a laboratory setting.

The x-axis of a titerverlauf typically represents time, while the y-axis indicates the titer, which is a measure of the concentration of the substance.
