Tilatistas
The term "Tilatistas" refers to the followers or supporters of Álvaro Arzú Irigoyen during his political career in Guatemala, particularly his presidency from 1996 to 2000. The movement's name is derived from the Spanish word "tilata," a type of traditional indigenous textile. Arzú's political party was known as the National Advancement Party (PAN).
