Thunderdome

Thunderdome is a term most widely associated with a fictional arena in the 1985 film Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. In the story, the arena is located in the post-apocalyptic city of Bartertown and serves as a ritualized combat venue where disputes are resolved through a controlled duel. Two combatants enter the dome, and the fight continues until only one remains. The brand is noted for large-scale live productions, distinctive stage designs, and its influence on a particular subgenre of electronic dance music. Although the prominence of the original events waned in later years, the Thunderdome name remains a recognizable reference within hardcore and festival culture.
