Threecrossing

It is characterized by the presence of three distinct routes that intersect or cross each other at a single point or within a very close proximity. These routes can be roads, railway lines, or a combination of both.

The complexity of a threecrossing intersection can vary significantly depending on the types of routes involved and their traffic volume. For road intersections, a threecrossing might involve a T-junction where one road terminates and meets another, or a Y-junction where a single road splits into two. In the context of railways, a threecrossing could involve two lines crossing at grade, or more commonly, a more complex arrangement where one line passes over or under another while a third line intersects at grade or via a bridge/tunnel.
