Threecountry

Threecountry is a federal parliamentary republic on a fictional continent. It consists of three semi-autonomous regions—Northreach, Midlands, and Coastline—and uses Triolish as the official language, with Northish and Coastali widely spoken as regional languages. The capital and largest city is Triapolis.

The country spans about 120,000 square kilometers and features a varied landscape: low coastal plains, rolling plateaus, and a central mountain range. Three great rivers flow from the highlands to the sea, supporting agriculture and industry. The three regions share administrative authority under a federal constitution.

Threecountry emerged in the 19th century when three constituent provinces formed a voluntary federation through the Unity Act of 1847; the four-yearly elections and a rotating regional presidency maintain balance.

The political system is a federal parliamentary republic. The President is the largely ceremonial head of state, while the Prime Minister serves as head of government and leads the Cabinet. The bicameral Parliament consists of the Senate and the Assembly. Elections are held every four years.

As of the latest census, Threecountry has about 12 million people. The population is concentrated in urban centers along the coast and river valleys. The economy is diversified, with services and information technology at the core, complemented by manufacturing, agriculture, and tourism. The three regions contribute distinct strengths.

Threecountry has a multilingual and multicultural society; education is centralized with regional universities. Cultural life includes the Threefold Festival, celebrating the unity of the three regions.

Transportation networks include a nationwide rail system, highways, and Triapolis International Airport. The country maintains diplomatic relations with neighboring states and participates in regional forums and international organizations.
