Thimmamma

Thimmamma is a legendary figure in South Indian folklore, particularly revered in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The most prominent tale associated with Thimmamma describes her act of Sati, the ancient practice of widow immolation, where she voluntarily burned herself on her husband's funeral pyre.
