Testhmérsékletnek is a Hungarian term that translates to "body temperature" or "fever" depending on the context. In a medical context, it refers to the degree of heat in the human body, which is normally maintained within a narrow range. Deviations from this normal range can indicate health problems.

A normal body temperature typically falls around 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit), though this can vary slightly between individuals and throughout the day. Factors such as age, activity level, time of day, and even recent food or drink consumption can influence body temperature.

When the body temperature rises significantly above the normal range, it is referred to as fever, or "láz" in Hungarian. Fever is often a sign that the body is fighting an infection or inflammation.
