Termosensorik

Termosensorik refers to the study and application of temperature sensing technologies. It encompasses a wide range of devices and methods used to measure, detect, and monitor temperature in various environments. These technologies are crucial in numerous fields, including industrial automation, medical diagnostics, environmental monitoring, and consumer electronics.

The fundamental principle behind termosensorik is the conversion of thermal energy into a measurable signal. Various physical phenomena are exploited for this purpose. Thermocouples, for instance, utilize the Seebeck effect, where a voltage is generated at the junction of two dissimilar metals when exposed to a temperature difference. Infrared thermometers measure thermal radiation emitted by an object, allowing for non-contact temperature measurement.
