Termográfia

Termográfia is a non-invasive diagnostic technique that records the surface temperature distribution of the body. It utilizes a specialized infrared camera to detect and visualize infrared radiation emitted by the skin, which is related to underlying blood flow and metabolic activity. Areas with increased blood flow or inflammation will appear warmer, while areas with reduced blood flow or injury will appear cooler.

The procedure is painless and does not involve any radiation or physical contact. A trained technician will position the infrared camera at a specific distance from the patient's body, and the thermal images are captured. These images are then analyzed by a qualified medical professional to identify potential abnormalities.

Termográfia can be used in various medical applications, including the detection of breast cancer, assessment of circulatory disorders, evaluation of nerve damage, and monitoring of inflammatory conditions like arthritis. It can also be employed in sports medicine to identify muscle injuries and imbalances. While termográfia can provide valuable information, it is typically used as an adjunctive diagnostic tool and is not usually a standalone method for diagnosis. Its results are often interpreted in conjunction with other clinical findings and diagnostic tests.
