Termini is a residential area located in the municipality of Castelnuovo dell'Abate, part of the province of Salerno in the southern Italian region of Campania. The town is situated approximately 15 kilometers southeast of the town of Piana del Lago, a popular tourist destination on the shores of Lago di Patria, a lake formed by the damming of the fiord in the Calore torrent.

Termini is a small, rural community with a population of around 250 residents. The majority of the economy revolves around agriculture, with wheat, grapes, and olives being the primary crops cultivated in the area.

The area's history dates back to the 11th century, during which time it was part of the county of Ottaviano. Over the centuries, the area changed hands several times, serving as a part of the Kingdom of Naples, the Two Sicilies, and finally, as part of the Kingdom of Italy in 1861.

Termini boasts several notable landmarks, including the Basilica of San Cipriano and the ruins of an ancient cathedral, which date back to the 12th century. However, many of the town's historical buildings are in disrepair and in need of restoration.

The area features a unique, mesophilic microclimate with generally temperate winters and hot summers, relative humidity, and moderate precipitation levels. Termini is also known for its rich natural environment, which supports a wide array of plant and animal species.
