TenderNed

TenderNed is the Netherlands’ official online platform for public procurement. It provides a central channel for publishing and managing tender notices, procurement documents, and contract awards from central and local government authorities and other public sector bodies. The platform aims to increase transparency, competition, and efficiency in public procurement by offering a single, accessible repository for procurement information and a standardized bidding process.

Suppliers can register for a TenderNed account, configure search criteria and alerts, and download tender documents. When eligible, they can submit bids electronically through the platform and monitor progress, ask questions to contracting authorities, and receive addenda and clarifications. Public buyers post notices in accordance with national law and EU procurement directives, and the platform supports multiple procedures (open, restricted, negotiated) and various threshold regimes.

TenderNed is maintained and operated by a government-backed organization as part of the Netherlands’ digital government and procurement framework. It is designed to help buyers reach a wide pool of suppliers, including small and medium-sized enterprises, while providing secure and auditable bid submission and record-keeping. The service also integrates with other public-sector information systems and uses recognized authentication methods to protect information and ensure compliance with procurement rules.
