Telemetry Instrumentation refers to the tools and techniques used to collect and transmit data from remote or inaccessible sources to a location where it can be monitored and analyzed. The word "telemetry" itself is derived from the Greek words "tele" (remote) and "metron" (measure). This process is crucial for understanding the performance, condition, and behavior of systems that cannot be directly observed.

The fundamental components of a telemetry system include sensors, data acquisition devices, transmitters, and receivers. Sensors are responsible for detecting and measuring physical quantities such as temperature, pressure, voltage, speed, or position.
