Telemetrija is a branch of technology that deals with the measurement and recording of information from remote or inaccessible points. The term is derived from the Greek words "tele," meaning remote, and "metron," meaning measure. Telemetry systems are used to collect and transmit data from one location to another, often over long distances, for monitoring and analysis purposes.

Telemetry has a wide range of applications across various fields. In the medical field, it is used for remote patient monitoring, where vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels are transmitted to healthcare providers. In the automotive industry, telemetry is employed to monitor vehicle performance and diagnostics. The basic components of a telemetry system include sensors, a transmission system, and a receiving station. Sensors are used to measure the desired parameters, which are then converted into electrical signals.
