Taqdr

Taqdr, also spelled as Taqdeer or Taqdir, is an Arabic term that translates to "fate" or "destiny" in English. It is a concept deeply rooted in Islamic belief and culture, signifying the predetermined course of events by Allah, the supreme deity in Islam. The term is derived from the Arabic root "q-d-r," which implies measurement, determination, and power.

In Islamic theology, Taqdr encompasses the belief that Allah has preordained all that will happen in the universe. This includes every event, action, and outcome, down to the most minute detail. The concept is closely related to the Islamic understanding of divine decree, or Qadr, which is one of the six articles of faith in Islam.
