Taloustutkijat

Taloustutkijat is Finnish for economic researchers or economists. The term is formed from talous (economy) and tutkija (researcher) and is used to refer to people who study and analyze economic phenomena. The plural taloustutkijat and singular taloustutkija are common in academic, governmental, and media contexts.

Typical roles of taloustutkijat include conducting empirical research, collecting and analyzing data, applying econometric methods, and producing reports and forecasts. They work in universities, research institutes, government agencies, think tanks, and in private sector consulting. Their work covers macroeconomics, microeconomics, labor markets, public finance, statistics, and data analysis.
