Talajnedvességállapot refers to the amount of water present in a soil sample. It is a crucial parameter in various fields, including agriculture, hydrology, environmental science, and civil engineering. Understanding the soil moisture content helps in assessing drought conditions, managing irrigation, predicting runoff, and determining soil stability.

Several methods are used to measure talajnedvességállapot. Gravimetric methods involve drying a soil sample in an oven until its weight stabilizes and then calculating the water content by the difference in weight. Volumetric methods estimate the water content based on the volume of the soil sample. Other techniques include TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry), FDR (Frequency Domain Reflectometry), and neutron probes, which provide in-situ measurements without disturbing the soil.
