Taevakehi

Taevakehi is a term with limited attestation in standard Estonian. It does not appear as a separate dictionary entry in major Estonian lexical resources. The primary Estonian noun for "celestial body" is taevakeha, and the genitive plural is taevakehade. In authentic texts, taevakeha is used to refer to objects such as the Moon, planets, stars, comets, and other bodies outside Earth’s atmosphere.

Some readers may encounter taevakehi as an inflected form in online or informal writing; in formal Estonian, however, taevakehi is not recognized as a standard form, and its meaning would generally be conveyed by taevakeha or taevakehade, depending on number and grammatical case. The appearance of taevakehi in a text is often the result of misspelling, typographical error, or nonstandard usage rather than a defined lexical item with its own entry.

In linguistic discussions of Estonian morphology, the relevant and well-attested terms are taevakeha (celestial body) and taevakehade (genitive plural).
