Taaotlejatest, also known as Taaotleja-tect or Tartarian Pilgrim's Cross, is an alleged prehistoric monument or artifact that originated in various forms across the globe, including Europe, Asia, and the Americas. While often sensationalized in popular culture, its true nature and origins remain largely a topic of debate and speculation.

One of the earliest known references to Taaotlejatest dates back to 18th-century European folklore, where it was described as a mysterious, ancient artifact supposedly discovered in the caves of Tartarus. Some claimed it was an association with an alien species known as the Tall Whites or Taukil, while others linked it to lost civilizations like Atlantis or Mu.

As its notoriety grew, so did the various descriptions and interpretations of Taaotlejatest. Some alleged it was an initiation stone used by prehistoric cults, while others claimed it was a tool used by extraterrestrial beings to terraform and habituate the Earth. Occult and esoteric traditions associated it with Thelema and Illuminism.
