TCFDsuosituksiin refers to recommendations and guidelines established by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The TCFD was established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) in 2015 to develop recommendations for consistent, comparable, and complete disclosure of climate-related financial risks and opportunities. These recommendations aim to help organizations understand and disclose the climate-related risks and opportunities they face, enabling investors, lenders, and insurance underwriters to make more informed decisions.

The TCFD's recommendations are structured around four core pillars: Governance, Strategy, Risk Management, and Metrics and Targets. Under Governance, organizations are encouraged to disclose how their board and management oversee climate-related risks and opportunities. Strategy focuses on disclosing the actual and potential impacts of climate-related risks and opportunities on the organization's businesses, strategy, and financial planning. Risk Management involves detailing how organizations identify, assess, and manage climate-related risks. Finally, Metrics and Targets require the disclosure of the metrics and targets used to manage climate-related risks and opportunities, aligned with business strategy and risk management.

Adoption of TCFD recommendations is growing globally among companies and financial institutions. Many jurisdictions are considering or have already implemented mandatory climate-related disclosures based on the TCFD framework. This trend reflects an increasing recognition of the financial implications of climate change and the need for greater transparency in corporate reporting on these issues.
