Sérülékenységszkennelés, often translated as vulnerability scanning, is an automated process used to identify security weaknesses in computer systems, networks, and applications. This process involves using specialized software tools that probe a target system for known vulnerabilities, such as unpatched software, misconfigurations, or default credentials. The goal of vulnerability scanning is to proactively discover and report potential security holes before malicious actors can exploit them.
