Szövésmódszerekre refers to weaving methods, a fundamental textile creation technique. It involves interlacing two distinct sets of threads at right angles to each other to form fabric. The lengthwise threads are called the warp, and the crosswise threads are called the weft. The process typically requires a loom, a device that holds the warp threads taut and allows the weft to be passed through them.

There are numerous weaving methods, each producing different textures and patterns. The most basic is the plain weave, where each weft thread passes over and under each warp thread alternately. Twill weave creates diagonal lines by shifting the weft threads over two or more warp threads. Satin weave produces a smooth, lustrous surface by allowing the weft threads to float over many warp threads. Other methods include basket weave, where two or more weft threads interlace with two or more warp threads, and complex weaves like jacquard or dobby, which allow for intricate designs. The choice of weaving method depends on the desired fabric properties, aesthetics, and the intended use of the material.
