Színezéket

Színezék is a Hungarian term that translates to "dye" or "pigment" in English. It refers to a substance that imparts color to materials such as textiles, plastics, paints, and inks. Dyes are typically soluble in the medium they are coloring, while pigments are insoluble particles that are suspended in the medium. The distinction between dyes and pigments can sometimes be blurred, and the term színezék is often used generally to encompass both.

The use of színezék dates back to ancient times, with early examples found in natural sources like plants, minerals, and insects. For instance, indigo from the indigo plant and carmine from cochineal insects were widely used for centuries.
