Szirvizsgálatra

Szirvizsgálatra, often translated as "cervical screening" or "Pap smear," is a medical examination performed to detect precancerous or cancerous conditions of the cervix. This procedure is a crucial part of routine gynecological care for women. The primary goal of szirvizsgálatra is to identify abnormal cells on the cervix that, if left untreated, could potentially develop into cervical cancer.

The screening typically involves a healthcare professional inserting a speculum into the vagina to visualize the cervix. A small brush or spatula is then used to collect a sample of cells from the surface of the cervix. This cell sample is then sent to a laboratory for analysis. The most common type of analysis is the Pap test, which examines the cells for any abnormalities in their structure or appearance.
