Szemgolyókat

Szemgolyókat is the Hungarian word for eyeballs. The eyeball, also known as the globe of the eye, is a spherical organ that transmits visual information from the outside world to the brain. It is responsible for vision. The human eyeball is approximately 2.5 centimeters (1 inch) in diameter. It is protected by the bony orbit of the skull, eyelids, and tears.

The eyeball is composed of several parts, including the cornea, iris, pupil, lens, retina, and optic nerve. The cornea is the transparent outer layer that covers the front of the eye and helps to focus light. The iris is the colored part of the eye that controls the size of the pupil, which is the opening in the center of the iris that allows light to enter the eye. The lens is located behind the iris and pupil and further focuses light onto the retina. The retina is the light-sensitive tissue lining the back of the eye, containing photoreceptor cells called rods and cones. Rods are responsible for vision in low light conditions, while cones are responsible for color vision and sharp detail in bright light. The optic nerve transmits visual signals from the retina to the brain, where they are interpreted as images.
