Systembedingt

Systembedingt is an attributive adjective in German that describes phenomena, conditions, or outcomes arising from the structure, rules, or properties of a system rather than from external factors or user actions. The term is used across fields such as information technology, engineering, economics, and organizational studies to label causes that are inherent to the system itself.

In usage, systembedingte Ursachen are those that would persist under unchanged user behavior if the system were not altered; this contrasts with benutzungsbedingte or external causes. Examples include systembedingte Verzögerungen in a computer network, systembedingte Ausfälle in a machine due to design limitations, or systembedingte Kosten caused by inefficiencies in processes.
