Syanidiionin

Syanidiionin is a naturally occurring alkaloid found in the roots of the plant Strychnos nux-vomica, commonly known as the poison nut or poison tree. It is a potent convulsant and stimulant, similar to strychnine, and has been used in traditional medicine for various purposes, including the treatment of convulsions and as a stimulant. However, due to its high toxicity, syanidiionin is not used in modern medicine and is primarily of historical and pharmacological interest.
