Swarmautomation

Swarmautomation refers to the use of coordinated groups of autonomous agents, often inspired by natural swarms like ant colonies or bird flocks, to achieve a common goal. These agents, which can be robots, software programs, or even drones, operate with a degree of decentralization. Each individual agent typically follows simple rules, but their collective interaction leads to complex, emergent behavior.

The core principle of swarmautomation is distributed intelligence. Instead of a central controller dictating every action, the swarm's intelligence arises from the interactions between its members. This can make swarms robust and adaptable, as the failure of a few individuals does not necessarily cripple the entire system. If one agent malfunctions, others can often compensate.
