Stüdlhütte

Stüdlhütte is a mountain hut located in the High Tauern range of the Austrian Alps. Situated at an altitude of 2,802 meters (9,193 feet), it is one of the highest huts in the Eastern Alps. The hut is named after Johann Stüdl, a prominent German geographer and mountaineer who was instrumental in the exploration of the Grossglockner region.

The Stüdlhütte serves as a crucial base for climbers and hikers aiming to ascend the Grossglockner, Austria's highest peak. It is a popular destination for both experienced mountaineers and those undertaking their first high-alpine tours.
