Stylinodontidae
Stylinodontidae is an extinct family of large, herbivorous mammals that lived during the Eocene and Oligocene epochs in North America. These animals are classified within the order Multituberculata, a diverse and long-lived group of mammals that existed for over 100 million years. Stylinodontids are distinguished by their robust build, relatively short limbs, and specialized teeth adapted for grinding tough plant material. Their dental morphology, particularly the large, ever-growing incisors and broad molars, suggests a diet of fibrous vegetation, possibly including roots and bark.
Fossil evidence indicates that stylinodontids were among the largest multituberculates, with some species reaching the size
