Studentovo

Studentovo is a fictional town and municipality in the Veridian Province of the country of Novara. Located in a temperate valley along the Sterna River, it lies about 40 km north of the provincial capital. The town covers 25 square kilometers and sits at roughly 180 meters above sea level.

The name derives from the Slavic suffix -ovo and a historical emphasis on education and student life. The settlement grew around a public academy founded in the early 19th century and later expanded into a university campus and municipal services.

As of 2024, the population is about 7,800 residents. It is a single-tier municipality with a mayor and a council elected for four-year terms.

The economy centers on education services, research facilities, and light manufacturing. Key institutions include Studentovo University, which offers engineering and humanities programs, and several secondary schools and vocational training centers.

Cultural facilities include the Hall of Knowledge, a theater and library complex, and the Observatory of Veridia. The annual Day of Learning festival showcases student and scholarly achievements.

Studentovo is connected by regional roads and a regular bus network. The nearest railway station is about 12 kilometers away, with regional rail connections available from a neighboring town.
