Strömintegrerande

Strömintegrerande, or current integrating, is a technique used in electrical engineering and physics to calculate the total electric charge that has passed through a given surface over a period of time. This is achieved by integrating the electric current, which is the rate of flow of charge, with respect to time. Mathematically, if I(t) represents the current as a function of time, the total charge Q accumulated between time t1 and t2 is given by the definite integral of I(t) from t1 to t2.

This concept is fundamental in understanding and quantifying electrical phenomena. For example, in battery technology, strömintegrerande is used to determine the total energy capacity of a battery by measuring the charge that can be delivered or stored. In circuit analysis, it helps in calculating the charge stored on a capacitor or the charge that has flowed through a resistor.
