Strålingsoverføring refers to the process by which thermal energy is transferred through electromagnetic waves. Unlike conduction, which requires direct contact, or convection, which relies on the movement of fluids, radiation can occur through a vacuum. All objects with a temperature above absolute zero emit thermal radiation. The intensity and wavelength distribution of this radiation depend on the object's temperature. Hotter objects emit more radiation and at shorter wavelengths, often shifting towards the visible spectrum.
