Stranglethorn Vale, commonly referred to as Stranglethorn, is a tropical jungle zone in the southeastern part of the Eastern Kingdoms in the Warcraft setting. The zone includes several notable locations and factions. Booty Bay is a large, neutral goblin-run port town on the southern coast that serves as a central hub for travel and trade. Grom'Gol Outpost is a Horde-controlled camp located in the northern jungle and serves as a base for quests and patrols. Nesingwary's Expedition is a human hunter camp situated in the interior, known for its hunting-themed questlines. In the central region lie the ruins and temple complexes associated with the ancient Gurubashi trolls, including the Zul'Gurub site, which houses a major raid dungeon introduced in early World of Warcraft.

Stranglethorn Vale supports a diverse mix of factions, wildlife, and lore.
